I am back with another Halloween themed post. This is my first Halloween as a Vegan and while I’m excited, I was curious as to what candy I can and can’t eat. I did some research and decided, why not share a list with you. And while the candy that we can eat is quite an extensive list, here is a list of my favorites:
- Air Heads
- Cry Baby
- Jolly Rancher hard candy + lollipops
- Now and laters
- Sour Patch Kids
- Swedish Fish
- Hubba Bubba bubble gum
- Sweet Tarts
- Bottle Caps
- Fruit Roll-Ups
- Laffy Taffy
- Starburst (only Vegan in the U.K)
Do you know of any other Vegan candy that I may like? Let me know in the comments 🙂
As this is a ‘Vegan’ post, and this coming Wednesday (November 1st) is World Vegan Day, I’ve decided to present a challenge to you, my audience. I challenge you to go Vegan for ONE day. In honour of World Vegan Day, I ask that you join us Vegans in celebrating the health and environmental benefits of the lifestyle, as well as the precious lives saved by it. And who knows, maybe you will actually like how the lifestyle makes you feel! Let me know how it goes if you do take the challenge.
I will also be doing a mid-week blog post this week in honour of World Vegan Day. It will be a Q & A so be sure to leave any Vegan related questions you may have in the comments and I will try my best to answer them all in that post!
