I have been OBSESSED with watermelon as of recently. Such a quality fruit am I right? Aside from eating it, I’ve started juicing it. The drink I’ve been making is somewhere in between a juice and a smoothie and it’s so refreshing on a hot, sunny day like today. Can you guess what I’m sipping on while writing this post?
Here’s the recipe:
Serving(s): 1-2
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup cubed watermelon
- 1/2 of an apple (I use gala apples)
- 1/4 cup coconut water
- 1/2 cup ice (not necessary if you plan to refrigerate it)
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed mix (optional)
- The juice of 1 small lime
Method:
- prepare ingredients and place in blender
- blend at a high speed until smooth
