Supporting local: Tropshop

Happy Sunday loves! New week, new ‘Supporting local’ post? Sounds about right. This week I want to introduce you all to TROPSHOP.

In late 2016, Amy, a local entrepreneur founded a company that would go on to produce handmade, small batch, mostly Vegan products that come ready to use in mostly eco-friendly packaging (we stan a company that cares about the environment). After quitting her job in the corporate world, Amy sought out her desire to use products that weren’t chemical ridden and well…made her own. After months bordering years of trial and error, Amy has perfected her all-natural products. Not only is she now producing the chemical-free products that she once desired but she has also created a brand that fellow locals could be proud of.

What does Tropshop have to offer?

Now I don’t know about you, but visual appeal is EVERYTHING to me. And let me tell you. These products score a solid 20/10.  I was fortunate enough to receive some of these lovely items and couldn’t wait to try them all out. And let me just say that these products are so gorgeous and were a blast to photograph.

I fell in love with everything from the moment I opened the box. From the divine scent of the box to the way everything was packaged. Here’s what I tried out:

Now let’s get something straight. I LOVE handmade soaps. Something about that handcrafted goodness just draws me in. And don’t even get me started on when they’re cute and visually appealing. Now yes, I’m aware that they’re meant for cleansing purposes and they don’t necessarily have to be cute. But why can’t I have both? Anywayyyy. Back to the review.

THESE SOAPS ARE INCREDIBLE. Not only do they smell divine, but they also have great texture (you could even see the natural ingredients in them). These soaps leave my skin feeling so soft and I’m definitely going to need to restock my collection soon.

Now if you know me, you know that I love a good candle. And these candles are no exception. I got to try out the maple pumpkin and vanilla and fell in love with them both. They burn beautifully and have that lingering scent that we all want from a candle.

How do you purchase from Tropshop?

It’s quite simple! You can head over to their Instagram or to their website to see all of their products as well as to place your order.
